PATRONS EXEMPT FROM FINES AND FEES POLICY

As a courtesy to the Board of Trustees and employees of the Preble County District Libraries fines and borrowing fees will be waived while serving a Board of Trustees term or employed by the library only. These patrons will be identified by a user category recognized as fine and fee exempt on the online system.

As a courtesy to the developmentally disabled persons in group homes, late fees will be waived.

Educators will have a longer period to borrow items than other patrons, however, excess lateness in the return of the materials will result in late fee charges. It is the discretion of the Branch Librarian to determine these late fees.

Staff members who have worked continuously for thirty years or more will be exempt from fines with the understanding Staff are under the same obligations as all patrons.
