1. View Newspaper Pages -- this part searches the full text of newspapers from 1880 to 1920. Their are several papers from Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia and several other states. It will eventual include a selection of papers from every state. P.S. it's free.
2. Find: Information about newspapers from 1690 to today -- this a directory of historic and current publishing United States newspapers. It will tell where and when a paper was published and what libraries own microfilm of a paper.
