Miami Valley Libraries is one of eleven regional cooperatives in Ohio that was established to provide a variety of group services. MVL services include: continuing education, and group buying discounts. This October (2009), MVL has voted to approve membership of libraries outside of the geographical boundries of the Miami Valley. "We simply want to be able to officers our resources (discounts and programming) to libraries that may not be able to afford the membership fees of other organizations due to drastic budget cuts." Furthermore, 2010 has been voted by majority to be a duty-free year for current members.

Next Meeting: Tuesday, January 26@ 2pm at the Greenville Public Library in Greenville (Darke County) following the Levy Workshop. The Levy Workshop is sponsored by OLC in conjunction with MVL.
