The Preble County Genealogical Society was formed through the
interest created from "how to" classes which were
offered by the Preble County District Library, and through the
growth of genealogical and local history collections in the
county.
The society was formed in 1987 and currently has about 100
members. "Preble's Pride," the society's quarterly, is
published in January, April, July and October. Items include
members names and addresses, surname lists with corresponding
researchers, various family and local records, queries, etc.
The PCGS provides research for those who cannot
