Preble County District Library
The Preble County District Library Outreach Services is a sublending
agency for the State Library of Ohio's Talking Book Program. This
program provides FREE talking book machines, tapes, records and
Braille materials to qualified individuals.
To qualify people must meet at least one of the following criteria:
· legally blind
Applicants must be certified by a health care provider or other qualified
· visually disabled
· physically disabled
· reading disability
Materials may be borrowed at no charge from the Cincinnati Library
for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
To supplement, over 2,000 books on tape (which will work with talking
book machines) are also available at any Preble County District Library

Preble County District Library Outreach Services
delivers library materials to nursing homes in Eaton on a regular
basis. We work with the Activities Directors to provide materials
for programs and special projects.
